What's New in GeoTime 5.1?

Because Time Matters.

GeoTime is the only commercially available information visualization tool able to provide a truly simultaneous visualization of geospatial, link and temporal data. GeoTime's patented 3D Time Viewer has been proven to facilitate a deeper exploration of data, driving faster and more accurate conclusions.

New GeoTime Networks for visualization of link and
social network data over time

Building on GeoTime’s unique and award winning geo-temporal visual analysis capabilities, GeoTime 5.1 introduces:

  • GeoTime Networks for improved visualization of social, link and network graphs over time
  • Integration with the new ArcGIS 10, taking advantage of the new temporal capabilities within ESRI's flagship product.
  • Support for the industry standard GPX data format, widely supported by most GPS devices.

GeoTime Networks

GeoTime's new 2D networks visualizer introduces a paradigm shift for visualizing networks of non-geographical events and links over time. The addition of GeoTime Networks enables data visualization and analysis of non-geospatial data, such as computer networks, workflow and process graphs, social networks, etc.

  • Easily create 2D network graphs showing links and relationships between entities and locations. Easily change the layout of your network graphs with pre-defined layouts, or adjust the nodes of your graph manually.
  •

Circular layout of call logs originating
     from a correctional facility
      Cyber attack logs containing both
    link and geographical data

  • Send network graphs to the 3D Time Viewer to show link events play back over time. GeoTime Networks is fully integrated with GeoTime's charting, pattern and reporting tools.

ESRI ArcGIS 10 Support

GeoTime 5.1 introduces supports ESRI ArcGIS 10 with a new extension built exclusively for ArcGIS 10.

  • GeoTime is even more tightly integrated with ESRI's flagship GIS product, making it easier for bi-directional workflows.
  • Support for projected map imagery with on the fly re-projection of map imagery from ArcGIS eliminates the need to re-project maps in ArcGIS in order to display them in GeoTime.

GPX Support

GeoTime can leverage GPS location data from virtually any GPS device. The "where" and "when" of GPS locations are clearly visible, making it easy to see the GPS data over time.

Native loading of GPX data from most popular GPS devices allows analysts to easily load data from a wide variety of professional and consumer GPS devices.
